My name is Thùy-Dương Lê (pronounced Twee-Yoong). My kindergarten teacher use to write my name as “(Twee),” so for the longest time I thought that was how it was spelled. I was born in 1982 somewhere between Vietnam and Thailand/the ground and the air. I came here to Portland a month later but didn’t learn a word of English until I was 5. My closest 64 friends came in a yellow box in a colorful array. I went to school, received my doctorate from OSU in 2007 and am now a pharmacist by night, other occupation by day. I have an expired passport full of stamps yet also an expired driver’s permit. I don’t have any pets but if I did it would be a wolf dog. And I own a camera. I hope you like my pictures. <3
